BTEC Paris teamed up with Ubisoft to deliver a location based ARG to promote Tom Clancy’s The Division, simulating how society would collapse when met with a world-ending fictional virus – the ‘Variola Chimerapandemic’. The app tracks the user’s location, detailing how the societal structures around them would deteriorate and eventually collapse. An eerily relevant foreshadowing to our post-pandemic world.
